Naksa Day (6 June) (Arabic: يوم النكسة‎, Yawm an-Naksa) commemorates the Naksa ("setback"), the mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians during and after the 1967 Six-Day War between Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. The first mass displacement, known as the Nakba, took place during and after the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine and the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is marked on Nakba Day.
