Naomi Basner was a Starfleet security officer who served in Starfleet in the 24th century. By the year 2376, Basner was serving aboard the Federation starship USS Exeter as security chief. Basner was one of those personnel in the security profession who believed that there was no challenge in training unless it was potentially lethal. She also liked 20th century comic book characters.
