Rex Norton, the Black Arrow, flew over the North Atlantic Sea Lanes in order to investigate the strange disappearance of an American ship and its crew and passengers. The only clue to the vanishing ship was a radio flash which said it was being attacked by a mysterious armed raider prior to its disappearance.
