Tim O'Malley was an anchorman and the host of a nationally syndicated cable show on Fox News. A few weeks after the California presidential primary, a tape recording of an exchange between Keith Palmer and Carl Webb at the Griffith Park Observatory – implicating Webb in the death of Keith's therapist George Ferragamo – was sent to O'Malley from an anonymous source at the Department of Justice. The tape was played in its entirety on O'Malley's May 29 broadcast, which "detonated a political bombshell." Webb was tried for his involvement in Ferragamo's murder, but was acquitted due to a lack of evidence; he was ultimately forced to resign from politics. (Findings at CTU)
