Agranon is the Prince of Colonus. While on a picnic with his betrothed, Jana, Agranon was ambushed and unable to save Jana as she was kidnapped. Agranon found Xena and Gabrielle in a bar, and attempted to hire Xena to save Jana. Xena reluctantly agreed to help, on the condition that Agranon would use his money to help the poor villagers. Agranon does so, and stays behind with Gabrielle while Xena rescues Jana. Agranon is eventually reunited with Jana and they attend the funeral of Marcus.
