Merormo is an Altmer wizard residing at his tower in the town of Shattered Grove, Auridon. According to the note Dismissal Letter, Merormo was expelled from the College of Aldmeri Propriety by Telenger the Artificer, after he had apparently repeated "ill-advised" experiments, causing college authorities to act after their last warning.
