A Cult of Shadow detachment led by the Dark Lord Crix was tasked with eliminating the Charon splinter group known as the Cult of Light; they stormed the citadel while keeping several Schrai in reserve to deal with any reinforcements from the planet's Force-using groups. Though Crix, Varik and their forces succeeded in their objective, they were attacked by a Sith Covenant team led by Darth Obscurus. While their underlings fought, Obscurus and Crix duelled, culminating in Obscurus choosing to bring down the citadel on top of Crix and company.
