Communications Bunker 31 was a communications installation built in the southeastern corner of the Cartel mining mesa on the planet Makeb. The bunker was one of many such installations across Makeb that were used by the InterStellar Regulators, the planet's mercenary defense force that was bought off by the Hutt Cartel prior to the Conquest of Makeb. During the conflict, the Galactic Republic captured the bunker and established it as their foothold on the mesa.
