Dwarves are a noble race of demi-humans who dwell under the earth, forging great cities and waging massive wars against the forces of chaos and evil. Dwarves also have much in common with the rocks and gems they love to work, for they are both hard and unyielding. It has often been said that it is easier to make a stone weep that it is to change the mind of a dwarf. Dwarves usually live from 350 to 450 years.
