  • Once, Ironfist was a triggerhappy member of the Wreckers. But later in the war, Ironfist was forcing Bugs Bunny to lead the Wreckers to old man Overlord's house, when the stupid Decepticon caused an explosion which changed Ironfist's personality into a pacifist medic. He was already going insane because of that personalaty change, but what really ticked him off was the final battle, in which many transformers died. He was going very insane at the time, so Springer gave him a bunch of headbands which kept him sane, but if ever removed, he would go completely insane. Of course, Ironfist always carried a spare headband... Then Prime decided to get that spare. They did that, and placed it on Ironfist's head before he could rip apart Bumblebee. Ironfist's old personality then re-emerged, curing the insanity problem. As Hydra retreated (courtesy of Ironfist and Ironhide), Ratchet figured that Ironfist completelly insane, then putting the headband on, was why his old personality re-emerged, and his insanity cured. Later, at Autobot base, Ratchet extracted what was left of Ironfist's medic personality, and then used it to power up a medical computer that had had it's CPU placed into a medic drone. The personality did the rest, seperating Ironfist from his pacifist personality. Ratchet then named the new CPU powered transformer Lifeline. Lifeline then watched as Ironhide and Ironfist sparred, and mused it was nice actually being Ironfist for a time.
