The play Water for the Dead (10302 AG) by Harq al-Harba tells of the intertwined lives of Vladimir Harkonnen and Alia Atreides. In Act I, Vladimir appears as a slim, athletic, handsome youth, in Act III he has become the hulking monstrosity killed by the infant Alia.
