The Glaanih-at Riots was an event that happened 36 years ago in the city of Glaanih-at, on Telios Prime. Being the largest industrial center of the planet, there is no shortage of demand for workers, both skilled and unskilled. There had been many labor disputes involving the management leaders and the unclanned workers, who were being treated unfairly in comparison to clanned workers. Following a round of negotiations, there was some unrest which quickly turned to street riots. These riots led to the deaths of several hundred workers when security forces opened fire on the civilian rioters in an effort to disperse them. Following the lengthy trial of the security forces involved, several social and labor reforms were put into place to improve the treatment of unclanned workers.
