| - The Anubis-class dropship is a Terran aerospace vessel. Used by both military and paramilitary forces, these ships primarily transport multiple forms of valuable and/or dangerous cargo. Some of these can include prisoners (psychic and non-), research specimens, sensitive equipment, and etc. This is due to the relative ease in customizing storage areas to suit the user's needs. For prison transport, Anubis dropships can hold up to 50 stasis tubes each linked up in clusters of 5 around an individual power generator. In the event of a breakout, the floors automatically disable gravity while also activating traps ranging from electroshock, flamethrower, and autocannons. Should worse come to worse, the storage areas will decompress and vent out prisoners into space (Mass Effect 2: Purgatory). Due to the danger posed by psychic prisoners, they are constantly kept in cold sleep under several types of neural suppressing drugs (Stargate SG-1: Khalek). Should any of these precautions fail, a variant of the bioexplosive agents used by Infested Terrans is injected into the prisoners before they regain their senses and are ejected out as if deploying an active bomb. This is piratically standard procedure for any potentially dangerous cargo. Exterior defenses of Anubis dropships are composed of reinforced Neosteel hulls and multiple laser batteries comparable to half the armament of a Battlecruiser. This arrangement is mainly used to resist impacts while traveling through hazardous environments such as the asteroid belts around New Folsom. One rarier occasions, high profile prisoners have been known to attract pirate/mercenary groups to stage breakouts while in transit. Fortunately, most of these groups cannot afford more than handfuls of fighters and frigates which are either destroyed or crippled before back up arrives to finish stragglers. Special abilities:
* Rapid deployment tube - load and unload troops/vehicles almost instantly
* Emergency drop - deploys random containers holding:
* 25 Convicts each with Shivs dealing 5 damage (no life span limit)
* 4 Maniacs (unstable psychics) exploding in a psionic storm dealing 80 damage
* 1 Hybrid Reaver (life span: 60 seconds)
