The Bow of Ulysses is a weapon that was owned by Ulysses. It had the ability to penetrate three men with one arrow. The weapon was unique to him, much the Chakram was to Xena. When Ulysses was presumed dead by the entire kingdom of Ithaca, Penelope used it to hold a competition, in which the man able to string the bow would become the new King of Ithaca. No one was able to string the bow until Ulysses returned (with the help of Xena and Gabrielle) and strung it himself.
