The Diadochian language is an independent branch of the Indo-European family of languages, native to Diadochia. It has the longest documented history of any language in the Diadochian archipelago, spanning 30+ centuries of written records. The Diadochian alphabet arose from the Phoenician and Greek writing scripts. Greek is the most widely spoken language in Diadochia.
