The Haus von Burchardinger was a former Dundorf Reich royal family that went extinct as a powerful family and contender to the throne in 1275 with the death of King Hans Otto III at the battle of the River Ode. After the death of the Hans Otto III, the family had no direct surviving male heirs, a requirement for the Dundorfian throne, and was therefore out of contention for the royal throne. The family also lost the holding of its princely holdings in Julstoch to the Haus von Klings a year later.
