| Synopsis
| - After he comes to the rescue of an old man in a car accident, as a thank you, Kip Burland is rewarded the deed of an old mining town – Cripple Creek. He informs Barbara about the real estate holding, and they, with friend Joe Strong, head out west. When they get there, they realize it is a ghost town haunted by the Headless Horseman.
- While gangsters are pretending to be nice by inviting their neighbor to a local play, they're really hiding their "recent heist" in her apartment. Meanwhile, Walt Whitney finishes his column and heads out to see the same play. During the show, one of the gangsters is stabbed in the lobby, and the girl neighbor is accused of murder.
Because he thinks she is innocent, Bob Phantom appears and and grabs the girl, taking her safely out of the theater.
Later, the girl returns to her apartment and Bob Phantom rescues her from the other gangster who is looking for the hidden diamonds. Once Bob Phantom delivers him to the police, he returns to the apartment as Walt. The girl shows him where the diamonds are , and after returning them to the police, he hires her on the spot, as "His Girl Friday" — Jinx Friday.
- A voodoo story set in the swamp lands of the bayou.
