July 21, 2005 (actually on June 23, 2005 Tigger had a UTI and his bg was elevated. He went on SD M/D dry for 4 weeks and then a fructosamine was drawn on 7/18/05. 2.) When did you start using Lantus and how long till regulation? July 21, 2005 3.) Are you feeding your cat a low-carbohydrate diet? Yes- less than 7% carb 4.) Has your cat gone off of insulin? No 5.) Are you considering changing to or from Lantus?

Are you considering changing to or from Lantus? I am considering switching Tigger to PZI. His preshots are higher than when he was first diagnosed. He is scheduled for a dental on Monday, 11/7/05. He has a lot of plaque and his gums are inflamed. If his bg's don't drop after 4 weeks, we will switch.
