Vakada Sheme was a Vardaine official who served on the Vardaine Council in the late 2250s. In 2258, Sheme and Lieutenant James T. Kirk of the USS Farragut exposed a plot by Ies Bredell to overthrow the Vardaine Council, which led to Bredell being dismissed from the Vardaine Science Council. In 2260, Sheme attempted to expose a covert Vardaine plot to construct Constitution-class starships, but was caught by the members of Vardaine's anti-Federation faction, who put him to death. He was survived by a son, Menao Sheme. (TOS video game: Judgment Rites)
