The Wind Release: Reikunai is a jutsu created by Nijo Nakamura, and is her answer to Naruto's Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. After seeing the Rasenshuriken in action against Naruto, Naruko attempted to emulate the effect, first adding Wind chakra to her Reikiri, creating the Wind Release: Reikiri, which at first she did not see as it's own independent jutsu, merely a first step to this jutsu. By manipulating the wind chakra of the Wind Release: Reikiri, Naruko was able to create two large points on either side of the Reikiri, making it appear as a giant twin-sided kunai, with the Reikiri in the centre remaining a perfect cylinder. Just like Naruto however, she cannot add the nature transformation on her own to this jutsu, and thus requires Shadow Clones, a method she used upon remembering se

Just like Naruto however, she cannot add the nature transformation on her own to this jutsu, and thus requires Shadow Clones, a method she used upon remembering seeing it during their fight. It's effect is dangerously similar to the Rasenshuriken, creates countless microscopic wind-blades that damage the body on a cellular level. The wind blades sever nerve channels in the body, leaving the target unable to move after being struck. They also attack the chakra circulatory system, which cannot be repaired by any form of medical ninjutsu; depending on how severe the damage is, the target may not be able to perform jutsu ever again. Just like the Rasenshuriken, it damages Naruko's arm when used, leading her to avoid using it after her first try.
