| - Batalista's Passport, also known as the Ring of Fire Resistance in BG and BGII, is a ring which offers 40% protection against all kinds of fire damage from weapons, spell, arrows, potions and traps. This item appears in Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. In Baldur's Gate, this ring can be found somewhere in the second part of the Underground Passages of Candlekeep in chapter 6. This is the only item that offers fire protection and can be worn by any character, unlike Mage Robe of Fire Resistance, Moonblade or the Gift of Peace. A second ring may be found in Area East of Nashkel Mines. In Baldur's Gate II, it is dropped by the ruhk transmuter on the first level of the Domain of the Dragon in the Windspear Hills. It can be used as a component to upgrade the Club of Detonation by Cespenar.
