Maccabi Cernauti was a Jewish sports club situated in the Romanian city of Cernauti (today Chernivitsi, Ukraine). It was founded in 1909 and added hockey to its sports program in 1927. The founder of the hockey club was Adolf König, who was also appointed as the president of the Bukovina regional competition. Maccabi issued a challenge to Tenis Club Roman Bucharest in 1929-30. TCR traveled to Cernauti and won the game, which was played for the Romanian Championship, 11-0. Maccabi was dissolved after Soviet troops occupied Cernauti in June 1940.
