I really like the MTX song from this quite a bit -- it also showed up as a bonus track on Our Bodies, Ourselves, and I think something else, too -- maybe Big Black Bugs Bleed Blue Blood? Either way, though, it's available on at least one MTX CD and that's good enough for me. The Young Fresh Fellows song is exclusive to this, though, but it's still pretty cool. These are all songs by the Banana Splits from the TV Show of the same name. As such, they're that type of perfect 1960s/1970s Bubblegum that Hanna-Barbera did so well (yeah, Josie & The Pussycats was a lame Scooby-Doo rip-off that no one really asked for since it's not like Scooby-Doo was worth ripping off in the first place, but, man, they would do awesome songs), so, you know, this is probably worth it just for that. I think there might have been an LP type thing that was tied in with this single? I'm not sure. If there was, though, that'd probably actually be pretty rad. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
