| - The Dominion of People in Glass Houses is a relatively young nation, geographically divided into 8 Regions, each region is under the jurisdiction of a Regional Commander, who interprets orders and policies directly from the Chamber of Government in the way most beneficial to his or hers region. Glass Houses is a largely forested area, interrupted only by the City towers, and recently, increasingly large-scale mining activity. Citizens are given freedom in most areas of life, but all are brought up to understand that the Chamber of Government acts for the greater good of the country as a whole, and though some policies or actions may be unpopular, must be taken in context with the nation as a whole. Glass Houses places great emphasis on technological advancement in all areas of life. The Military sector is a relatively new concern but is being pursued with the same perfectionist attitude applied to all ventures by the Chamber of Government. Each region is required to raise a standing army, with military hardware dispensed at the discretion of the Commander in Chief as it is needed. Despite the military leanings of late, the Dominion of People in Glass Houses is essentially a pacifistic nation, and argues that its Nuclear Defence Programme is purely a deterrent.
