An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Phlanagus was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was a high-ranking Greek soldier, who helped Xena waste Pompey's and Caesar's troops so that they were unable to continue their civil war. An orphaned boy, Temecula, who lived in his village, looked up to Phlanagus as a father-figure. His wife, Nogalin, resented Phlanagus fighting in wars. She was scared they he may die and leave her and their son alone. This was fear was later realised when he died at the blade of a Roman, whilst helping Xena. Gabrielle blamed herself for his death, as her reverance for life stopped her from killing his attacker. Temecula (who had previously wondered what it was like to kill) avenged his death by killing the Roman.
