The formation of the Young X-men was is an attempt by Chris Summers as a way to revive the seemingly lost dream of the late founder, Charles Xavier. As a result, Chris himself is seen as the founder of this new team with a burning desire to bring back the original ideals the X-men were founded on. Not to do such a task alone he sought the help from both sides, from the Jean Grey School and New Charles Xavier School in the hopes this unity might bring back a new spark of what was lost in terms of the ideal Charles Xavier hoped for.
