Given the Emperor's decree that the entire Kressh bloodline be wiped out, Vidar's name was changed at an early age to protect his true identity. At the height of the Cold War, the Empire recognized the latent Force abilities and potential in Vidar, and took him from his enslavement to Korriban for training. Upon completion, he gradually rose in the ranks of the Empire, shunning his past and taking hold of a promising future. At one point, Vidar became a prominent member of the Dark Council. After the death of the Emperor at the hands of the Hero of Tython, Vidar made his move for power, and claimed the throne. It was not until afterwards he proclaimed his true heritage, and revealed his real name. He later perished, and was encased in a tomb, perfectly preserved, for nearly four thousand years. Vidar's body was recovered in 17 ABY by Darth Sirena. Using powerful Sith magic, she healed his physical form and rebound it with his spirit, thus awakening the ancient Sith Lord from his rest. Though she was unaware of who, exactly, she had resurrected, Vidar nonetheless took a knee and swore service to her as repayment, though secretly held his own agendas.
