Pyeongchang County (Pyeongchang-gun) is a county in Gangwon province, South Korea and the third largest county in the country. It is located in the Taebaek Mountains region, and is the most famous winter sports centre of South Korea (also known as ) File:Flag of South Korea.svg. It is also home to a number of famous Buddhist temples, including Woljeongsa. Pyeongchang County is located approximately 180 km east of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
