abstract	The Raggedy Edge is a Firefly Mush set 16 years after the end of the Unification War, on the planet of Paquin. Paquin is a Border Planet, known for its attempt at high culture and also its grand opera house. It has bands of roving entertainers, but little else is written about the planet in any of the Firefly sources, so the setting is basically all original content. There is no coded space in this game, no coded econ or weapons at this time; its focus is strictly rp and not simulation through code. That does not eliminate all ship and crew rp - ships just do not spend time in HSPACE trying to move cargo. The setting: There are three locales on the planet of Paquin built for RP. PARRIS, the largest city on the planet, which has an Alliance presence but is run and policed by civilians. RIVERSIDE, a prairie town exempt from Alliance control through early treaties, run by a local government, has a very Western feel. NING JING, a religious community established to escape the sinful excesses of Parris and Riverside. In recent events, a disease has ravaged the countryside, causing the Alliance to build a fence around Riverside and turn it into an internment camp for those in "quarantine". They have moved all citizens from Ning Jing and the surrounding areas there. Anyone who is documented to be exposed in Parris is secretly moved by train to the encampment.
