  • UCW was formed by UWA Wrestler Flare in 2002 alongside Southern Wrestling promoter Reginald P.Packer. Packer was later replaced as head booker by one BF Goodrich who turned the company into a national promotion before departing. Under Packer UCW slumped once more which resorted in Goodrich being brought back in late 2002 – and once again turned the fortune of the company around. UCW in this period merged with Next Generation Wrestling and Main Event Wrestling. Goodrich later moved on in 2003, leaving Reginald P.Packer to buy the company with Syberus and RDS to run the promotion. RDS and Syberus would leave the booking team and Packer would sell the failing promotion back to BF Goodrich. Goodrich this time was unable to turn the company around and decided to close UCW for good. RDS decided to buy the company from BF Goodrich [Financially supported by the Firm in TKOW]. RDS would run UCW for the remainder of 2003 unable to re-create the early success of UCW. He also had to deal with the UCW Title being lost to TKOW and wouldn’t reclaim the belt until D-Matic [Reigning UCW Champion in TKOW] would defend the belt against Phoenix at Half Way To Hell 2003, which Phoenix would win.
