Ganner Rhysode was a Jedi Knight and gate guard in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order. When Darth Ruin attacked the Jedi praxeum, Ganner was the first line of defense. Ruin's servant, Paxis, dueled Ganner one-on-one, and Ganner slew him, along with many of Ruin's followers. However, when Ganner attempted to duel Ruin himself, wielding his own lightsaber and the fallen Paxis' Sith sword, he was slain. His sacrifice, however, gave the Jedi time to escape Yavin IV.
