Kuar Forto was a Kel Dor male lawman originating from the planet Dorin. In his teens he was found to be Force-sensitive, but as he was too old and not considered for Jedi training he was accepted into the ancient and forgotten order of the Baran Do, a force-sensitive sect that specialized in sensing danger and glimpsing possible futures. Eventually the Kel Dor became a lawman and began traveling the galaxy to search out great evil. At some point in his travels he came across the Dark Jedi Marnica Berlo who took him as her apprentice.

Together the two served the CIS in their mission in overthrowing the corrupt Republic. Kuar would meet his untimely end during the Battle on Toydaria where he was killed by the combined efforts of Jedi Knight Barriss Offee and clone Captain CT-7567.
