On September 15th, 2014, Microsoft Corp announced it had reached an agreement to aquire Mojang, a Stockholm-based game developer and it's well known franchise "Minecraft". Minecraft became available on the Xbox 360 back in 2012 and launched this year on the XBox One. Microsoft plans to continue development of Minecraft for the platforms it is currently available on which currently includes mobile devices. The Mojang team (minus the original creator of Minecraft, who retired) will be joining Microsoft, Corp. __TOC__
