Thelisae was the oldest city-state on Hellenes Gracca. It was ruled by a long-lasting dynasty, one of the last members of which was King Arhidreth. He was murdered secretly by Patrev, who then married Arhidreth's widow, Alren-hi. In 800 BBY Alren-hi gave birth to Prince Algyd, son of Patrev. Patrev immediately abandoned Alren-hi and the Thisspias system altogether. Feeling betrayed, Alren-hi would always tell Algyd that Arhidreth had been his father. When Alren-hi died in 774 BBY, Prince Algyd became King of Thelisae and united Hellenes Gracca.
