Alice Mary Wright (née Chance) (7 September 1855 – 1896) . The daughter of George Chance, a metropolitan magistrate, and his wife Mary née Doward, in 1881 she married Frank Loftus Wright, a barrister, and was known as Mrs Frank Wright thereafter. She was briefly a member of the London School Board, co-opted to fill a casual vacancy for Westminster on 13 July 1893, she stood down at the 1894 board elections.
