The Silver Tonfa Award is a running joke at the Academy, stemming from the historical actions of the first student to ever be officially expelled. The student wielded a silver tonfa which carries his curse. The story goes that the wielder of the Silver Tonfa claims it has mystical powers when none exist. These include bestowing upon the wielder martial arts prowess unlike the world has ever seen, freeing the wielder from any ties or restraints, and automatically returning to its owners hands when taken. In reality, its just a piece of wood spray painted silver with bits of black electrical tape.

Most troublesome however is the curse that bestows meglomania upon the wielder. This is so severe that he will listen to no suggestion and will scoff any action that is not his own. It does not matter how rational the decision maybe or how foolish is is to oppose it, he will oppose it. If challeges he may even resort to violence. Of course while wielding teh Silver Tonfa he is unable to admit defeat, and will refuse to admithe was hit even while lying in pool of his own blood. if immobilzed and forced to admit defeat he will claim that his assailants "cheated." To the weilder, the Silver Tonfa looks as is it crafted of solid silver but yet light as a feather, and it is engraved with magical runes, with black onyx highlights, The silver is so bright that it can blind opponents and the black so dark, that it instill fear in all who face the wirleder. Or so he thinks. In reality, its just a piece of wood spray painted silver with bits of black electrical tape.
