Miss Frieda Blechman was the grade-school teacher of Oscar the Grouch (her star pupil) in a 1986 episode of Sesame Street. Because she is a grouch teacher, her lesson plan differs from human teachers. In her class, writing your name on a blackboard one hundred times is a reward in that it gives the writer a sore hand and the sound of squeaky chalk. Instead of a blackboard eraser, she uses a blackboard "dirtier". Her music class never practices learning how to play -- they only learn how to make noise.
