Friedman has been a prominent puppeteer in Israeli children's shows, including the long running puppet series Butterfly. He's portrayed the full-bodied puppet character Dudidu in several series, including the still running Dafna and Dudidu. As a cartoon voice, he's been heard on the dub of the French animated series Il Etait Une Fois... Notre Terre.
