He meets Doctor Jack and his mother, who immediately becomes filled with energy and happiness which made Jamison question Doctor Jack. Doctor Jack explains that he gave his mother some new medicine but the mother makes no mention of medicine. Doctor Jack then explains that Jamison was the medicine and sent him over to cheer him up and suggests the same "remedy" once a month. Jamison then sees Doctor Jack healing two elderly gentlemen using music and boxing gloves and decides to ask Doctor Jack to help the Sick-Little-Well-Girl and to ignore Ludwig's methods.
