Dirty Donkers is a online community consisting of 4,000 members from both Australia and the UK, each of whom are passionate fans of all forms of dance music. The forum originated in 2004 by a aspiring UK DJ TidyBoi in an effort to unite fans of Hi-NRG/Scouse and Bouncy House from either sides of the globe. Although it is arguable that the two genres are very different, nowdays they are very similar, much due to the international relocation of DJ Alex K, a influential part of the Australian Hi-NRG scene. After relocating to Blackpool, Liverpool in 2005 and gaining a residency at many clubs whilst there, many Sydney people became interested in the UK Scouse House sound, and TidyBoi's plan was to welcome those Australian members to the genre by establishing the community. The plan was success

After relocating to Blackpool, Liverpool in 2005 and gaining a residency at many clubs whilst there, many Sydney people became interested in the UK Scouse House sound, and TidyBoi's plan was to welcome those Australian members to the genre by establishing the community. The plan was successful and unlike other online communities at the time, there was a healthy balance of Australian and UK members. In 2008, Dirty Donkers has changed ownership and is now a Sydney based forum, much due to the very large growth in Australian memberships. The high growth in members and the differing musical tastes of each of these members has led the Dirty Donkers forum community to not only accept Hi-NRG and Scouse House, but also all forms of House, Hardstyle, Hardcore, Trance and RNB. The community now wishes to expand from being simply a forum, to a online portal of Dance music for members, with latest news, releases and events.
