| - Blanc Pyranite was a Force-sensitive Human male who served the Galactic Empire as a Bounty hunter, the Rebel Alliance as an officer and commando, the New Republic as a Jedi Knight and (briefly) the Prophets of the Dark Side as a Sith Lord. Blanc was the son of a Corellian Jedi Knight, Corrie Blanc, and a Mandalorian bounty hunter, Cris Pyranite. Blanc was born on Mandalore about nine months after the Great Jedi Purge, where his mother hastily married a bounty hunter. Eventually, Corrie and Cris did fall in love after Blanc was born, only for Corrie to be killed by Imperial forces. Cris claimed to not know that Corrie was a Jedi, but privately gave Blanc Corrie’s lightsaber before he died in battle. Blanc worked for a bounty hunting guild his father worked for, with the secret desire to one day become a Jedi just like his mother. Blanc would eventually be accused of crimes against the Empire at age nineteen before joining the Alliance and leading a campaign against the Empire. In 3 ABY, Blanc was discovered by Jedi Master Brick Clarae, a Gray Jedi who had served the Order, but left in the midst of the Clone Wars because of his drinking problem before deciding to come back, but found out the Order had been extinct. Blanc eventually passed the trials and became a Knight, but his Master was then killed by one of Palpatine’s followers. In 25 ABY, Blanc joined the New Jedi Order and took on a renegade Padawan, Rick Stinson, before both were initially plunged into the Yuuzhan Vong War and, after Chewbacca’s funeral on Kashyyyk, met a young Wookiee named Gibacca. Blanc and Rick would bond heavily with Gibacca, with them even going renegade for a while before returning in the midst of the Swarm War. After the Swarm War, Blanc would meet a younger woman named Jaqui Blakvan. They would eventually marry after a two-year courtship and had two children the following two years: Sara the firstborn and Brok the second born. Rick mentored Sara while Brok was mentored by his father during several exploration voyages with Gibacca. Luke Skywalker gave Blanc the right to Knight his children as a sign of honor, something Luke had not formalized in the New Jedi Order. Sometime in the middle of 71 ABY, Blanc died. However, in 138 ABY, the Prophets of the Dark Side managed to find Blanc’s body on Mandalore and resurrected him with Sith Alchemy, combining his dead body with the transferred evil emotions of Darth Bane, Darth Plagueis, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Darth Tyranus, and Darth Vader in order to make him the head of the cult’s Imperial Knight-Guard. The newly christened “Darth Rancor” fought his ancestor, Jak Pyranite (Brok’s descendant) before Blanc’s spirit returned and vanquished the evil emotions inside his body. Blanc would then help his descendant destroy the cult once and for all. Blanc would start to train Jak the advanced ways of the Force while continuing his own study, and after Jak and Blanc’s training was complete, he told Jak to travel wherever he wanted in the galaxy, in order to help those in need. However, Jak would have to do this without Blanc. Blanc eventually became one with the Force and disappeared before Jak’s eyes, bidding his final farewell to Jak.
