| - Prescott Portenson watched as Stormtroopers chased after the retreating Rebel forces, and a squad of X-wings was being tailed by a volley of TIE fighters. He walked over to the side of the small hill he was on and looked down at the battle site where the skirmish was. Several hours ago, there was a ceremony for the graduates of the Imperial Military Academy, and the Rebellion saw this as a chance to take out a new generation of the Empire's soldiers, but failed. During the battle, Prescott saved the life of Commander Karg, a senior commander who was a legendary commander from the Clone Wars and fought along side many heroes and seen many soldiers die. The Commander was impressed, and promoted Prescott from the rank Trooper to Corporal. Karg than got all of the surviving troops to their ships, which took them to their posts across the galaxy. Prescott was a Shadow Stormtrooper in the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) and was sent to do the Bureau's dirty work with his squad, Cattena Squadron. Prescott left the hill and joined the other Shadow Stormtroopers, including his friend Terrence, and got onboard a Lambda shuttle. As they took off towards space, Terrence and Prescott talked. "So, your first day out of the Academy and you're already a Corporal, eh?" said Terrence. "Yep. What did you do during the battle?" asked Prescott. "Just stood at the command post and guarded the computer room. It was pretty dishonorable for the Alliance to attack a group of graduates, don't ya think?" said Terrence. Just then, they broke through the atmosphere, and Terrence and the other graduates looked through the window, and stared at the Executer, Darth Vader's flagship and the first ship of the Super Star Destroyer class. "Look at that. I can't believe we are gonna work onboard Vader's ship just after graduation." said Terrence. "I bet we won't be there long," replied Prescott. "It's just here 'cause of the skirmish earlier . . . looks like the Rebels already left after seeing the Executer." The shuttle entered the docking bay of the Star Destroyer. Prescott and Terrence, along with the other troops, exited the shuttle via boarding ramp. They were greeted by an officer named Lieutenant Marcel. "So, you're the new guys. Well, you will be taken to the Imperial City on Coruscant soon, but first you are gonna help finishing construction on the ship's engines. They were not finished. We had a hard time getting the managers at Kuat Shipyards to let us take the ship before completion. There will be no slackers aboard my ship." said Marcel. The Squadron departed down a corridor to the nearest unfinished engine with Marcel. They arrived in a large room. Half of the engine was unfinished, and was already worked on by the Stormtrooper crew. As the troopers stared, Marcel started to leave. "Well, better get started."
