| - Saturday, August 12, 2010 was a day of excitement for many Phineas & Ferb fans. It wasn't the release of the new episode. It wasn't Candace's birthday. It wasn't the day of the P&F panel at the San Diego Comic Con. No, it was something much more exciting. It was something that happened only once in a Burgundy moon. It was the chance to make your own Perry the Inaction Figure! As a Phineas and Ferb fan, naturally, I immediately rushed at the chance to make my own OFFICIAL Inaction Figure. The morning of the event, my mother drove me to the nearest mall, and we went straight to The Disney Store.

As I entered, a woman told us to head to the back of the store, in front of the video screen, that normally plays clips of Disney productions. As we sat down on the floor, along with a bunch of little kids, ranging in ages from approximately 2 to 7. 2 female "cast members" (ie: Disney Store employees) introduced themselves and asked us if we remember "Toy to the World. The few kids who answered all said "yes". We then watched the episode with sporadic comments from the little kids. After the episode was over, the "cast members" started passing out the kits to make the inaction figure, while a constant loop of a few P&F songs played in the background (The songs included Busted, My Nemesis, Gitchee Gitchee Goo, and Perry the Platypus theme) As we were building, the cast members gave us instructions. In case you were wondering, the main body was made out of laminated paper, and everything else was made out of Styrofoam. All things considered, this was a nice event, and I hope that one day, we'll be able to have a "Make A Brick!" event.
