When the second generation of Minibots came out, they were not to scale with the first generation of Minibots which included Sir Killalot. The Australian version of this minibot featured less detailed packaging and was released in 2002, a year later than the UK version. It was also slightly more expensive in Australia. The Minibot was mainly sold in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and some parts of Australia. There was an exclusive version of the Sir Killalot minibot, with more information and details on the packaging, but it was still packaged with the same Minibots. The Sir Killalot minibot is different from other Minibots in a number of ways. For example, the Sir Killalot Minibot is the only one to have four wheels rather than three, to prevent it from tilting on to one side and help it to balance equally with the lance and claws. Also, the pullback motor is black unlike other Minibots which have white pullback motors. It is slightly heavier than the competitor Minibots; most of this weight is added by the pullback motor and the extra wheel. Most Minibots from the first generation do not have moving weapons but Sir Killalot does.
