The Combine Commander (CCom) was the first gameplay software used by the Star Wars Combine and, from 1999 to 2000, every player was required to download the application in order to participate in the simulation. In April 2000, the Combine Commander was replaced by ICIS, which was subsequently replaced by the Darkness interface in December 2003.
