Many regional forces, such as Shuraat Town and Orosk Village, as well as the main character's hometown, Telbe Village, are carrying out self-governance in the Holy Empire's region. Influential people in their respective regional forces have arrived at a crossroads due to the Holy Empire forcing subordination upon them because of the Hundredth-Year Monster.
