While knowledge of the saint's life and name are preferred, as it generally makes recognition an easier process, it is not required. Several saints have been known to simply use aliases, or have no known biographical information. This is more often the case for those saints who have been known before Mikagis became a formal body. Most followers of Mikagis have a primary Saint they prefer to worship. However, it is not uncommon for a follower to invoke or pray to other Saints as needed, or to actively worship more than one. A traveling doctor may well worship Anabella Svajone as well as Midori Kanter.
