A Rhombic Dodecahedron is a variation on the standard Dodecahedron. The only difference is that the faces are rhombic instead of pentagonal. Hence, Rhombic Dodecahedron. This is not actually made out of squares. It is made out of rhombi that have diagonal lengths of 1, and √2.
