Pinfold Street is a Weatherfield street where an old friend of Ena Sharples, Nellie Bickerstaffe, lived. When Ena returned from a short stay at St. Annes in September 1975 she stayed with Nellie as she and Minnie Caldwell had not resolved an argument from two months earlier when Ena had forced Eddie Yeats to move out of No. 5 as he was too much work for Minnie. Ena was told firmly that if Eddie was too much work for her, then so was Ena and she was also asked to leave No. 5. Eddie worked to reconcile the two old ladies. He succeeded and Ena moved from Pinfold Street back to No. 5.
