When did you start using Lantus and how long till regulation? 11/5/04 * Regulated to a range of 200-300 within 30 days on a DRY FOOD diet (Purina DM). Maintained for about 4 months. * Regulated to a range of about 100-200 within 12 days after beginning a wet food diet (FF Gourmet Chicken). Occasionally will slip out of range. Maintained for about 8 months. 3.) Are you feeding your cat a low-carbohydrate diet? Yes. 4.) Has your cat gone off of insulin? Absolutely not.

Occasionally still skips a shot from time to time. Current dose is .5U BID. 5.) Are you considering changing from Lantus? Absolutely not.
